The spatial installation Propadanje nežno / Decaying Gently explores the contrast between materiality and its digital representation. By juxtaposing a living organism with a video, the artist questions the feelings of aliveness that digital images evoke in us.
What is a digital image of the living? What can the camera capture? Can it really capture and preserve the soul? During the three-week exhibition, visitors could witness the organic transformation and confrontation between the living that is dying and the seemingly eternal life of the inanimate.
